Prepaid phone and Internet

Post by roseline07 » Tue, 02 Mar 2010 10:22 am

Is it available connecting the Internet by a prepaid phone?

Or, the Internet is connected in case of contract phone, only?

For singtel prepaid: yes, but not via 3G (only GPRS). And you have to request for your phone's settings. (procedure in singtel website)

There's a new top-up card that apparently bundles 50 megs' worth of data (including some minutes, texts and free incomming calls), but that won't last too long if you need everyday internet access...

Plus they might be a little hard to find from what I've heard.
