Anyone applied for Silkair Freelance cabin crew recently?

I have friends who used to fly for more than 3 years with some other international carrier and now they are back in Silkair flying freelance. They can plan when they want to fly every month.

And as for the training, ex-cabin crew with more than 3 years of flying experience need not go through the extensive SEP/FA training. They are only required to do a crash course.

But Silkair is not hiring now right? As in both full-time and freelance.

That I am not sure. But it will be good if you can get friends who are there to do a recommendation.

I emailed them last Nov regarding the freelance position, but didn't receive any reply. I noted that during the past couple of months, silkair had 2 or 3 recruitments for full-time crew, but no mention of hiring anymore freelance/part-time crew. I'm very keen on the freelance position..
