Know what your future apartment looks like

Post by irvine » Fri, 26 Feb 2010 9:49 am

I got to know this website that is sort of like a virtual map, but street view. It does give me an eerie feeling at first, thinking, how did the satellites or computers do that? But I suppose this would be especially helpful for those who are not yet in Singapore, and would like to have a view of any apartment you're aiming for, and the surrounding areas. You just need to enter the address like 123, Abc Street, Singapore.

irvine,

That's old hat. the site is plugging into Google Earth "street view". For those cities that have street view already done, like here in Singapore it's pretty neat.

been around for a couple of months now. Download Google Earth and you're in like flint!

Actually, there's no need to install Google Earth. maps.google.com suffices. Although, some of the pics are months old, especially with all the construction going on right now.

Hey, anyone knows the driver of the streetview car? I've always wanted to do something like this:http://boingboing.net/2010/02/09/angry- ... ns-in.html
