Civil marriage and registered partnership

Post by dungeonlord » Tue, 23 Feb 2010 1:49 pm

hi everyone!
I hope this is the rightsection where to ask my question. I'm italian and i would register my partnership with my girlfriend that is philippina and is a PR in Singapore. In Europe we have a difference between registered partnership and civil marriage. They give the same rights to the members of the couples and there are only 2 differences. In fact with a registered partnership
-The man doesn't become automatically the "father" of a future baby
-It's easyer to termine the relationship and can be done on common agreement

I would know if in Singapore there is something like this because so far i was able to find only the civil marriage solution in this site: http://app.rom.gov.sg/internet/index.asp
Thanks for all ur help
