US citizens: Passport renewal processing times?

Additional passport pages

The US embassy Singapore website says there is not "currently" a fee for adding pages. Any idea if this is current information? And if they do charge a fee - do they accept SGD or credit cards?

Nice passport, by the way. I am humbled.

I've not been in for a page 'top up' but a friend has, and it does not cost anything... you just won't be able to get so many additions before you have to cough up the renewal fees.

But, it is a 24 hour process, with a narrow window for collection the following day.
