Post by silien2007 » Thu, 18 Feb 2010 7:06 pm

Does anybody know the typical tv salaries to expect in singapore?

What do the following typically earn?

Researcher?
Editor?
Assistant Producer?
Producer?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Not too much. They expect you to bask in the glow of the almighty media rather than make a decent living. It's kinda like the advertising industry here.

Put it this way, they only pay $100/day for part time "talents" :? and there is no actors guild here so you take it or leave it. Extra's (movable props) are only paid something like $50/day.

its low and tiring. At least for the private production house.

I'm not sure about the more famous production house. Then again, there's not much well known production house here. Singapore have yet to to grow much in it's film industry.
