Almost. The only other gym I know of nearby is the public ClubFITT one in Toa Payoh, but it's kinda crappy and surprisingly inconvenient to get to from Novena (no bus, need to take MRT and walk quite a bit). There's also a SAFRA gym in Toa Payoh, but memberships there are Singaporean/PR only.

Found this gym online today: http://www.wellfit.com.sg/membership.aspx

You know much about it?

Whoah! I lived in Novena for two years and never realized that was there. (Maybe it wasn't, since they were apparently founded in 2007?)

Wow, Wellman, you are really fast! Asked the question on the 15th and answered it yourself the next day. And the similarities of your nick and your "find" are strikingly similar as well. I wonder why that doesn't surprise me. :-k

Haha didn't notice the username and gym similarity! Good spot!

I'm not actually related to the gym I just found. I've only just moved to the Novena area and am now comparing California fitness and Wellness infinity. I'll keep my findings to myself to prove my innocence!

I've used this gym -- looked at their website and the pics look familiar (plus what are the odds of two gyms in Revenue House?)

Treadmill and badminton court were ok. Much less crowded than the mainstream gyms, but I've only been there as a guest - not a member.

jpatokal - about SAFRA... that's not open to all PRs, right? SAFRA's only for NSmen / ex-NSmen and their families, going by their website. (darn)

Not so, I'm a member myself. All citizens and PRs can get EnergyOne memberships, they're just extra-cheap if you're in the Army, a reservist or family. But at $40/mo for the off-peak package it's already more than cheap enough for me!
