Latino community, what are you doing during Chinese New Year

Postby eduardomi » Fri, 12 Feb 2010 10:26 pm

What are you guys doing during Chinese New Year?

I am from Mexico so I am feeling left out, I just arrived 5 days ago and all my colleagues (most of them chinese) are spending this long weekend with their respective families.

Anyone up for lunch, dinner, drinks, anything?

Hit me up.

Veo la pregunta y nada mas! Lo siento! And my Spanish is sadly perdida!
I'm not Mexican but enjoy all things Spanish. I'm sorry that nobody responed to your post. Are you doing ok? Not sure if there are many Spanish speakers in Sg and as for mexicanos maybe even fewer. Let me know how you get on. There's a Spanish teacher at my school who may have some contacts re Mexicans here.....

You lived in LA and you didnt pick up Spanish? Now thats crazy! I lived in LA for 3 years before coming to Singapore. People telling you that you look like Mexican is a compliment; not a thing to be sad about!
