Can anyone Tell me how Business Incubators works in SG

We have a Prototype of an Invention which is already registered with the US patent office.

The invention will help Reverse the everyday C02 emisssion Globally and a friend of mine told me that the best way to get this commercialize is I go to a Business Incubator in Singapore.

You will have to contact Enterprise one, for a consultant to guide you.

There are a number of incubators around Singapore. Some are supported by govt grants, universities or private investment funds.

Usually the incubator will provide you with office space, utilities, shared office equipment, in return for an ownership stake in the company. Typically 10%.

Good incubators will also have contacts with investors and consultants who can help connect you and make your business grow so they get a return on the stake they have taken in you.

Having a patent from the US will be seen as an asset by an investor, though it may reduce your attractiveness for some local grants or subsidies from the govt as they would prefer to see this IP registered through Singapore! :)

im curious as to how they assess your business idea........? anyone can give an insight? do u need a proposal and a tangible product?
