Hi, I've recently moved to Singapore and am unfamiliar with the sports activities offered for kids here. Any suggestions anyone? Thanks! Jas.

Hello Susan! I was from Hong Kong.

Do they have a website? I can't seem to find the address. Have your kids tried the activities there already? Thanks!

Hmmm but I'm not from NZ or Aussie.

And I was thinking of something along the lines of sports like Rockclimbing cuz his school (local one) does not have that as a CCA or even the facility. Do you know of any? Thanks alot anyway!

My friend's kids at 8/9 are doing tennis, swimming, soccer etc. Fencing and gymnastics, inline skate also seem to be popular. Not sure whether rock climbing is suitable for 8 yrs old but you can find a list for rock climbing site in Singapore in:
www.indoorclimbing.com/singapore.html
If you are new to Sg, the best place to start is to go the sports hall and/or community center close to your house and see what they offer. Good luck!

Hi! Wow the rockclimbing link is really good. I've also found a rockclimbing workshop in the Singapore Motherhood website. Sounds really good. They have instructors specially trained for kids but it seems like they are not affiliated to any of the gyms. Anyone tried their monthly climbing workshops before? It's called The Rock School and they do monthly "Fun Climb" workshops at Toa Payoh.
Reason why I want rockclimbing is because my boy loves to climb! It's like a natural progression. Since he likes to climb, might as well do it as a sport.
