Are you on a diet? If so, it is possible that you can be affected depending on the type of diet. A trip to the doc wouldn't be a bad idea rather than just asking on a forum. There is only one "real" doctor on here, "taxico", so if he sees this he might have better advice.

At some point last year, I started experiencing the same irregularity.
The little to very little blood flow during menstrual period was something I'm not used to.

After 4 months of having the same concern, I went to an OB.
It was then that we found out I am having PCOS. Its a common "girl thing", especially when you're stressed from work and begin changing your body clock. Its true cos my job that time was with an I.T Company that operates on US time zone (so I had to be working during nighttime)
that triggered this PCOS....

your issue is also "hormonal", so my advice is to have an appointment with an OB

All the best! stay positive

there're different reasons why you experienced what you did - some simple, some serious. i cannot say with any certainty what it might be.

some things require an actual inspection by an OBGYN (or at least a family doctor), as they would have instruments like stirrups, ultrasound, colposcope, etc.

you would not be making a wasted trip to the clinic. i strongly recommend it. you could also do a pap smear at the same time.

you COULD take a chance IF: you experienced no pain/irregularities, had been very stressed lately, and your cycle reverts back to what it was over the next few months...

otherwise, don't.

well then i think you should go see a doctor. since your lifestyle has been the same but there is abnormalities in your menses cycle, you should see a doctor.

there is nothing wrong in my cycle and flow but i experience super bad menstrual cramps everytime :( anyone with the same experience?

If its a one time thing then the spotting could be the result of any of the many factors including stress, diet etc. You might want to wait for your next cycle and decide whether a trip to the doc is warranted. In most cases things get back to "normal" the following month. However, in case they dont then a visit to the gyn is a must. Take care.
