EP Approval

Post by ceej1979 » Mon, 08 Feb 2010 9:37 am

Just wanted to say, after a long, frustrating, at times, seemingly hopeless, pursuit of trying to get a job in Singapore, I today got my EP approval from the MOM.

I have to admit, the entire process was me being hugley sceptical whether it was going to get to this point, and my HR manager doing his best to reassure me that I would be accepted! Followed by me thinking "he's just saying that to raise my spirits!". Well, previously being the most sceptical person on the planet, I've now learnt to have more faith with such things!

Anyway, I now move on to the next stage I guess. Trying to organise a move abroad.

I'd like to say thanks for all the advice I got. Much of my perseverence was based on not only mesages I got on here, but reading other people's threads as well.

So I guess in maybe 2-3 months, I'll be an Editor, in Singapore. Thinking, why the hell did I do this!? ;)

Congratulations. Good things come to those who wait and have patience.
