Looking to buy some reasonably cheap book shelves, display cabinets and balcony furniture ( 2 to 4 chairs and a table ).

Apart from Ikea, can anyone recommend a place.

Try Ohmm and Xtra, they sell very well-designed outdoor furniture. You can also take a look at iwannagohome!

I just moved to Singapore and into my new flat, so I'm not completely clear on what I can / cannot get away with here and certainly don't want to be...
