Belgian kids to international school / hollandse school?

Post by lisemo » Fri, 05 Feb 2010 7:11 pm

Hi,

I'm looking for people who have experience with the Hollandse School Limited as we're moving to Singapore in 3 weeks.
As I understand 4yrs old start then reading/maths/science/ ... ??? I find that really early to sit still all day and pay attention. (First culture shock :D ) Does anyone has experience with grade 1 in HLS?
As an alternative, I'm also looking for a good international school where he still would be in Kindergarten... and yes, PLAY :D

Any advice or thoughts on this matter?? (all advice is welcome, so not only Belgian one  )

Thanks!!!!

you can try the german school-- they have a german section (medium of instruction is german) and a european section (medium is english).

Thanks rnb, that sounds as a great option !!!! (although I would send my kids to the European section :-)
I'll do some research on this school!

So far no one sends his kids to the HLS on this site??
After some sitesurfing, I'm also considering EtonHouse... any suggestions on this one?
