Furnished/Serviced Condo for 3-6 Mo, E. Coast or Holland V

Post by ivygirl » Sun, 31 Jan 2010 12:40 pm

Hello, We are an American family tentatively coming to Singapore in April for 3-6 months to launch my husband's company's Asian business. Since we have two young children and my husband hasn't set up an office yet, the East Coast sounds nice, or Holland Village does as well. We would like a building with great amenities, particularly for kids. I would rather not live in one of those crazy expensive, small Serviced Apartments near Orchard Road, etc. (I would also like a 3-4 bdrm and at least 1500 sq ft). We haven't set a budget per se, we will be proposing something to his company. All the places in the areas I like appear to be regular apartments with no furniture/accessories and would likely require a long-term lease. Any suggestions? Oh and I am a vegetarian and would love to live in any area where I can actually find food to eat (not just western, though, I love indian, middle eastern, thai, etc.).

For the Eastern side of Singapore search for a place called Lotus Sanctuary. I stayed there for a couple of months when i was doing the same thing and it was really nice but a bit pricey.
