Books on handling working culture or cultre in Singapore

Post by supergmail » Sat, 30 Jan 2010 7:17 pm

Hi guys,

I am trying to search the thread which was post some time back regarding about the TS challenges with working with his singporean team.

I think in the thread, there was a post recommending couple of books for him to understsand the asian culture.

Can any kind soul who might rem the thread help by posting the link again or the title of the books?

Please dun ask me search for it myself. I have sped my whole sat afternoon doing that with no results.

How about starting with Art of War by Suntzu, and The Prince by Machiavelli?

Tyrannical leader? Hahaha... I have 2 advice for you:

1. If you can't beat them, join them - categorical imperative
2. Run for your life.

Else, you may risk slaving your life and sanity away.
