PR through spouse

Post by jlfyxl » Sat, 30 Jan 2010 11:46 am

Hi guys,

I'd like to ask what are the chances of my husband (a PRC) getting a PR when i'm a singapore citizen? Do ICA look at his qualification, job, income in china etc etc as well as mine? Please help!

Shouldn't but possible. Depending on his age, be aware that he might be liable for NS as well. First Gen PR can only avoid NS if they get their PR on the Skilled/Technical Scheme and not on the Family Ties scheme (assuming they are of NS eligible age).
