Condition for PR application

Post by SCHNG » Tue, 26 Jan 2010 2:49 pm

I have a question on requirement to be a SPR.
Is there a requirment for SPR to reside in Singapore?
Meaning, he or she may work in Singapore, but reside somewhere in Malaysia.

Then you would not be a resident would you? You could possibly get away with it if you maintained two residences as you would need a residential address to put on your NRIC. There is a law about putting a false address on the NRIC due, in part, to things like the Educational System's within 1 km rules, etc. Using your business address? Possibly. But you would need your employer's permission as all government correspondence would be sent there. I reckon it's possible, but legal I don't know.
