Hi there,

Sounds great :), would love to join. Am in Holland Village though.

Have also only just arrived and am looking to start either Pilates (beginner) or get back into Yoga.

Let's see what comes up :).

I know that reformer pilates is in fashion at the moment but does enyone know the studio where I can do pilates on a mat?
http://life.gaiam.com/gaiam/p/Should-Yo ... r.html?p=1
I've found this article which I think makes sense.
I'm new to pilates business and I would love to be able to do it at home in the future, with all the equipement required in reformer I will spend fortune.
Any studio near Ferrer Park?

Thx

Hi, amore has a good pilates class for beginners. You can get a package deal for abt $100 a month and you can go for as many sessions as you like! whats great is that you can go for other classes too like aerobics, even belly dancing! haha and they have quite a few outlets ard singapore so thats convenient. Might want to check out their website?

Power Moves is great - there's a studio at Bishan Park and a newer one in Dempsey... check out their website:

www.powermoves.com.sg

You'd have a choice of floor or mat, or combination of both.

Hi there

Thanks for your recommendation of www.singaporepilatesfitness.com - I attended one of the trial sessions at the weekend and would definitely recommend it - Candice the instructor goes through all the exercises and also gives you a posture analysis.

Good luck in finding somewhere you like!

Hi,
I found this place at The Cathay, Dhoby Gault station, where they have a class mixing Pilates,Yoga, and other tonifing exercises for beginners and stiff people like me;sometimes there is also some dancers in class. They called that "stretch n Tone"its every thursdays from 5 to 6pm!Even if I'm actually first more into yoga than Pilates,i also would love to practice more Pilates.Everytime all the Pilates classes i found here was quite expensive n finally not even so amazing!
This class cost around 15$ / 1hour !
