Are there Any Mini Dachshund People Out There?

Hello ~

I just moved here a little over a week ago.

My (2) Female, smooth-haired mini dachshunds are in quarantine. We pick them up tomorrow morning.

I am a pet channel member. I have told same story on that website and have gotten a great response from other Dachsie owners. They seem to be locals. Are there any expats out there who own dachshund(s), who can share some tips and advice about dog parks/care etc.?

I am beginning to think that my dogs are rare.

Can anyone tell me what they know please?

So far, I like it here. I know it will adapt. In fact, I am looking forward to it.

My Husband and I just moved here from the UK & we have a Mini smooth boy.

I have seen a few other dachsies around but not many.

Do you know if there are any Dachshund meet up groups here at all?
