Longest possible employment in Singapore before joining CPF?

I understand that the initial 2 year EP can be extended by up to 3 more years, but before that ends you can get a PEP for 5 more. Is that correct?

What then, return to EP again + extension?

All in all, what is the max time you can exercise emplotment before being forced to join the CPF club?

Employer willing you can stay on an employment pass forever. You just have to reapply rather than renew. Course there is always the chance of the existing scenario of the tightening up of controls and not getting a new one but I've got at least three employees with over 8 years on employment visas and another with over 10 years. The government would defo like to keep you on an employment visa rather than have you take up PR for the wrong reasons.
