Artists canvas on a frame - know where do get it?

Post by polarkitten » Sat, 23 Jan 2010 11:39 am

Hi all,

I'm on a mission to find some artists canvas, stretched onto a frame in larger sizes (1m+ approx)

Does anyone know where I could track them down?

They don't have to be amazing quality canvas, as I'm going to cover them.

Any directions would be fab!

Thanks!! :D

Hi polarkitten

Try Bras Basah Complex. its a stone throw from Cityhall MRT station. They have many art/craft shops there. Art Friend is 1 of them. You will be amazed by what you can find there!

Try the frame shop on Kerbau rd, in a shophouse in the walking part of the street neer the corner of Belilios Lane.
They are very professional and very reasonably priced.

Hi x9200, yileen, jak and Girl_Next_Door,

Thanks to you all for your advice and info about places - much appreciated. I live quite centrally, so they all sound easily accessible to me.

Will take a trip to check some out on the weekend.

Cheers,
Polarkitten
