My personal advice is to stay in Singapore for the rest of 2010.
I was over there at Christmas, and i can assure you Taiwan was hit quite badly in the economic climate of last year, many many shops had closed down in Taipei with many job losses.

I also visited the larger shopping malls to find them rather empty, no people out spending money.

If I'm not wrong you are mainland Chinese, and only 29, you will have difficulty in traditional Chinese language, which lessons your chances of finding anything suitable.

Though maids are better paid there than here in Singapore, the minimum wage is 16000 TWD by law.

There are employment agencies you can contact in Taiwan, and it is cheaper than Singapore.

My advice would be to continue learning English here, and build up some business networking friends, so that when you move, you can maybe use these friends, to connect Taiwan business with Singapore.

Though maybe your time is up here and you have to leave, that is another problem.

So where did you study traditional Chinese, I'm very curious to know this!

I have lived in China and Taiwan and met many Chinese professionals that, cannot read or write traditional Chinese and Singapore only teach simplified Chinese.

My best suggestion would be to do a search on 就業機構 in Taiwan! or try 104.com tw
