Is it ok to enter with a 30-day valid ticket?

I've read from some of the posts here that the EP can take anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks to process. Is it ok if I enter Singapore with a 30-day valid roundtrip ticket, and just have the Social Visit Pass renewed in case I still don't have my EP at the end of 30 days? Will this be a problem?
I'd appreciate any advice you can give. :)

Yes, entering with a SVP while your EP is being processed is normal. Getting an extension while your EP is processing should not be an issue.
