Maternal Health Nurse Equivalent in Singapore?

Post by buddhabelly » Sun, 10 Jan 2010 7:12 am

Hi, we are relocating to Singapore from Melb Australia in Feb 2010. We have 2 boys, an almost 5 yo and a 1 yo. Does anyone know if there is a Maternal Health Nurse equivalent in Singapore?
Cheers
Han

Hi!
A health nurse equivalent is difficult to find in Singapore. Typically parents will have their children 'screened' by a Dr. I would recommend Dr Mark Low at The International Medical Clinic. He sees many Aussie kids!
Enjoy your time in Singapore!

Try Mother & Child at Tanglin Mall, good quality MC& H Nurse but can be long waits and they are expensive. I think it is called Baby Cafe - drop in service.

Another MC& H (an Aussie) works part-time with Complete Health International - Body With Soul. Her name is Stephanie and she is fantastic. Don't remember her rates, though. At least, here is by appointment.

I hope this helps.
