possible to import Latex mattress into Spore?

Post by FoodLover » Sun, 10 Jan 2010 3:05 am

Hi all,

My country is a country of rubber. We have a very and very high quality latex mattress which is very well-known across the country. However, price is also high, ~ S$600 to 3K/set, but S$600 one is really good enough. 3K is for deluxe ones.

I really disappointed with mattress here. I myself just spent S$899 for King Koil CourtCare II to get backache!!!

Do you think I can import into Singapore? My concern is whether Spore want latex matress, thickness of about 10cm? About quality, I am very confident our mattress can beat all the brands now in Spore.

Thanks in advance!

Just my opinion but a latex mattress in Singapore is not a good idea! You should know that unless you are a novice and besides this is not the advertising page

Hey,

I am not advertising anything here. I know the rules. The idea was just come up when i bought a King Koil mattress last week.

The mattress brand from my country that I was talking about is not here yet. That is a family-based company. It is very hard to import their mattress due to their policy on quality control and maybe because it's a family-based company. So far they have their own branches in Germany, China, Aus and Combodia. But I think if the market here is good, plus my sincerity and patience, they may take me.

Please do not think that I am advertising. Just want to discuss about a business idea in Sing. Yes, I am completely novice.

I didn't see anything that resembled advertising either so don't worry about it.

Sorry foodlover! I know you are not advertising, becuase you are into food. There maybe some regulations regarding fire safety regulation on mattresses, best to check the regulations first before taking it any further!

The chinchilla gets treated better than me, with a fan on 24/7 and a regular haircut!

I thought those overgrown guinea pigs needed aircon. I read that they need a temperature of around 75 F degrees to thrive. Bet PETA loves you. :P

Yes I read the same, actually i also need 75F, so I was thinking of a double glass door refrigerator for it! Actually the guy that makes our fridges may have a better solution, though i would prefer they made them illegal to import!
The prices they charge for them is ridicules, 600 minimum and white ones are 1600$
