business registered on DP and LOC application
business registered on DP and LOC application
Hi! Does anybody on DP register his/her own business and goes through the LOC application process? Any advice is welcome as I've just registered my business and need now to apply for the LOC.

As far as I know, Strong Eagle apparently found out that that is the way to go. Hopefully you registered your company as a Pte Ltd Company. It might go either way if you only registered a sole proprietorship.

You can register a business (sole proprietorship) and apply for an LOC.
Note that if you are planning tuition services, fortune telling, massage, karaoke, etc (same list as Entrepass) you will not get the LOC.
Note also that some people who started a sole proprietorship as opposed to a private limited were turned down when attempting to apply for their own EP. Those who created a private limited and then demonstrated earnings from the company are generally granted EP's.
