:o
Considering the statistics also include statutory rape.. the figure should be MUCH MUCH MUCH higher for Australia. Our teens lose their virginity very early these days.
And Singapore isn't on the list at all!

Dammit we both loose to Botswana who beats us both . That said finding it real hard to believe after living there for 2.5 years and having one of the few computers with internet running around. Alamak, it was me and my Aussie genes that caused the crime wave...

Btw from the same hallowed information resource:

India finally wins one.
Again Singapore appears to be exempt :???:

Actually there have been a number of serious crimes pepertrated by indians recently in Melbourne and not one was mentioned in india press. This current rapist in the article above and the indian trying to grab women in south melbourne, the lady who through herself out of a taxi when the indian driver tried to assualt her, the inidan national who killed two people drink driving and then fled the country with no help from indian authorities to help extradite him. There was another rapist agin in some article I saw in the the age. Also the indian killed walking home from the hungry jacks was killed was also proved to be not racial (as the police stated at the time) was opportunistic robbery by a drug addict in Footscray. Anyway pulling isoldated incidents does not give the big picture either way. The best thing this whole episode brought out was the back door entry into Australia being used by foreigners including indian nationals. These schools were unregulated and offered degrees in nothing. They were purely an expense for getting your points up for PR or work in Australia. So now this loop hole is being looked at you would expect less foreign "students" and I use the term lossley coming to OZ. The indian nationals that come to univeristy or tafes will keep coming for the education, lifestyle and work. The parasites paying for work visas will leave as expecteded.

As I mentioned much earlier in this thread, my wife actually worked at one of the private tertiary institutions.

When the government revised it's list of wanted professions for skilled visa migration, there were hundreds of overseas students (mostly Indian) suddenly switching courses, as the earlier course they were studying was no longer on the wanted list. There were also hundreds of refunds - many student visa's were getting rejected last year soon after this.

My wife had the unfortunate task of processing all these refunds.
