Working in Angola

Hi all,
I will be working offshore of Angola and entering the country via Luanda.
Any advice would be appreciated re customs and immigration check points

Hey Ross sorry for the late reply.
The immigration process changes from week to week there. Just hook up with someone else that has been through there and be patient. Getting frustrated just makes it worse.
Also coming in isn’t bad but on the way home the "fiscal police" might try to squeeze a few bucks out of you. Be cooperative but don’t give them anything. If you do they will give you trouble for the rest of the time that you are rotating through there. I spent several years there both as a resident and rotating and for the most part liked it.
Spend a little time driving/riding in Luanda and from then on you will laugh every time you hear some expat bitch about Singaporean drivers.
