Samsung Flat Screen TVs

Postby zodiac09 » Tue, 05 Jan 2010 3:04 pm

Can anyone help me ?

No idea why, but my 5yo flat screen TV has decided to die over the xmas period and the greedy s0ds from the Samsung service centre want an absolute fortune to even come out and look at it [not even considering repair cost and replacement bits etc].

I was wondering if tehre was a good local repair shop around that anyone could recommend ?

Otherwise, what should I do with the thing ? [tasteful responses only, pls hehehe]

My delightful flatmate in Oz broke my Samsung TV by knocking into it. I managed to get a TV repair bloke out to take a look who told me that in most cases its actually cheaper to buy a new one because getting the replacement parts is sometimes more expensive! I would assume the same applied over here?
