Watching the 2010 Winter Olympics

Post by Mathew_in_Singapore » Thu, 31 Dec 2009 4:35 pm

Hey all,

Wondering if anyone knew a way to watch the Winter Olympics here in Singapore. Eurosport will have some footage, but not enough hockey. I wrote to CTV - and while they stream coverage, it's only within Canada.

Anyone with ideas would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
Mathew

Yes, please let us know. My only thought was on the internet, but hopefully we can watch it.

What events are you interested in. Curling will be a bit hard to find but Hockey will for sure be available. Everything in between will be hit & miss.

Any thoughts on where it might be on? I am really only looking for hockey.

I also checked Eurosport - and while it there is some - it is infrequent.

Thanks

ESPN has live coverage over here, there was some hockey on today (Finland - Germany) as well figure skating and bobsleigh or one of these similar sports.

Any of the other channels offer live coverage? I saw some non-live stuff on Eurosport and Mediacorp 5, but I'm only interested in the live action (I know, the hours will be crappy...).

No olympics coverage I think, but lots of NHL hockey on ASN.

We've been watching it on ESPN through starhub...spotty on some events but overall pretty good, you can record things airing overnight on the pvr.
