Anybody used the online groceries in Singapore? How was it?

Post by gonzales » Mon, 28 Dec 2009 2:13 pm

Hi All,

I'm interested to hear about experiences of the online grocers in Singapore. It's big back home & well run, I'd like to hear good & bad experiences on price, accurate selection, delivery etc. & whether you continue to use the service.

I've found a few but have not tried to use them yet?

We use coldstorage on a monthly basis to get all the bulky items in and it is fine, always turn up on time etc and bring the food in for us.

No idea what they're like for chilled or frozen goods and from experience I always opt to not have replacements made but they do have the option for them to call you before they do any substitutions if you want to do that.

For fresh food we just pick small things up in the week or we get a big delivery of fresh meat from Meat from the supermarkets here is hit and miss sometimes in my opinion.

hope this helps

use cold storage online for the bulky and heavy on a regular basis...

and usually add some fresh food ( one or 2 meals ahead) given that they deliver in refrigerated trucks... no problem there at all.
