EP - Address Change

Post by ilovemexmany » Thu, 24 Dec 2009 11:52 am

Since applying for my EP, my residential address has changed. I have read that you need to inform the MOM within 14 days of changing your address. I have looked on the MOM website to see how to do it, but haven't found anything. Can anyone advise me on how to do this?

You need to get yourself a Sing Pass. Just take your EP card and passport and go to any of the MoM centres and you can apply. There is one next to Tampines MRT in case you are in the east. Sing Pass is just a password and the user name is your FIN.

You can then log in to EP Online and change your address.

I applied for the SingPass online as well. Wait a few days and the password comes through the mail then you change it when you log on the first time.

There isn't a HUGE importance on changing the address within the stated time so long as you are in the process of organising it then no problem, but yes it should be done.

Applying online and waiting for it to come by mail is a catch22 situation.
Remember the address needs to be updated which means they have the old address on record. So you first need to change the address on record
