American Chinese Food in Singapore

Post by bukingtexan » Thu, 24 Dec 2009 9:24 am

In the US, I always eat Chinese food for Christmas (I am Jewish). But the Chinese food is too real in Singapore to bring fond memories of Christmas at home. Does anyone know where I can get a good General Tso's Chicken, Chop Suey, or the closest thing to the fake Chinese food you get in the USA?

Hey I was thinking about this not too long ago too... when I was craving for Crab Rangoon. Yeah, hahaha funny but fried cream cheese with wanton skin is actually quite good.

Maybe we should start an American Chinese stall or restaurant, eh?

To answer your question, no I haven't come across a place like that here in Singa.

Hey I was just talking about this I miss the good old $1 Chinese in a takeout box, especially orange chicken.

Sadly, I've yet to see some kung pau chicken or U.S. style beef and broccoli here. Also, what IS duck sauce anyway (by the way)?
