Salary Advice please

Post by UpStreamTim » Mon, 21 Dec 2009 8:11 pm

Hi,
Brand new at this so please be gentle with me!!
I'm moving to Singapore in early 2010 and am in the process of negotiating a contract with a UK firm.
Looking around this site it would appear that the average salary for a sales manager is between S$5-7k per month.
I will be aiming for more than that, probably closer to S$10k per month.
Can I take it will be able to survive comfortably on a salary like that? I have a wife and two young children to support.
I'd also be keen to get some suggestions on local banks as I will need to start opening accounts.
Thanks
