Post by mm_2004 » Mon, 21 Dec 2009 1:20 pm

Hi,

Can it be happened that LTVP application takes longer than one month?
I have applied LTVP for my mum on 16th of last month and until now it haven't got approved. Only the short term visit pass is extended for 2 months. It is put on the ICA website that LTVP application will take about a month and my friend said her mum LTVP is appoved within a month.

yes, it is about a month normally. What puzzled me though is that it requested me to extend the regular visa (paying 30 SGD fee), or else I couldnt see the result of application and then the next day told me that the LTVP was approved !
Coming soon...

I applied for the LTVP for my wife in late Aug 09 only got approval in late Nov 09, which makes it 3 months.

Approval for friend's wife also took 3 months a year ago.

Hi, my parents applied for LTVP about 7 weeks ago. It has not been approved yet. They need to go back to their home country and plan on coming back to pick up the pass once it does get approved. My question is, is it ok for them to leave Singapore while the application is pending? The reason I ask is that the online application had asked for their disembarkation card numbers. Once they leave Singapore those disembarkation cards will be revoked ofcourse. Does that have any affect on the LTVP application?
