Technically speaking, as a DP you have the right to form a company or business, then have that company or business apply for a letter of consent which is usually granted. That way, like an honest citizen, you record your monthly $150 and give the gahmen it's due.
Realistically, as a DP you can also open a checking account. So long as the checks make out to you match the checking account name, then no problem.
And, at $150 per month, you will not earn enough to pay Singapore income tax.
My take: You could fly under the radar with no real issues; and given the opportunity to create a business that can be demonstrated to be earning real money, I'd probably create the business.
