Baby/toddler groups in Bukit Temah area

Post by london01 » Tue, 15 Dec 2009 1:46 pm

Hi,
Does anyone know of any groups in the Bukit Temah area where I can take my 16 month old? I am moving there next week.
Would also like to have a group of friends in the local area to meet for coffee/ walks etc who have a baby of a similar age. If anyone would like to meet up let me know. I am in my 30s, new to Singapore and a full time Mum.
Thanks in advance for any info about baby groups.

I recommend joining http://www.nmsg-singapore.com/

It is a volunteer run group of mums, they organize socials and meet ups for babies and mothers.

Still interested to form playgroup at Bukit Timah area?

Post by vseow » Thu, 31 Dec 2009 12:02 am

Hi london01, I'm looking for a playgroup for my 14m old girl too, but we will only be in Singapore Jan 9 - Feb 25, returning to Shanghai thereafter where we are now permanently based. Are you still interested in forming a playgroup, albeit a short-lived one? I'm Singaporean but we've been away from our home country for the last 7 years so I don't have any other SAHM friends to hook up with. I will be staying in the Bukit Panjang area when we're back, that's about a 10min drive to Bukit Timah. If you are interested, please PM me. Thanks!

Hi, I'm a (slightly bored) stay-at-home father with a (never bored or boring) 6-months-old daughter looking for (or want to form) an informal and preferably multi-cultural playgroup.
I'd volunteer our place near Bukit Timah if somebody wants to come. Any weekday during office hours (except Wednesday morning) is fine with me.
Please contact me at Frank (at) Berauer (dot) org.

Greetings,
Frank
