Tennis coach has problem with condo?

A friend of mine takes lessons from a coach she really likes and I got his name and number. I spoke with the coach, told him where I lived, and we agreed on the cost, date, and time. When it was time for the scheduled lesson the coach IM'd me and said he would be unable to teach me at my condo. I called to see if it was just for that day or what and he said it was a personal problem with the condo. Has anyone else had this experience?
