There are a few people getting together for a Xmas party, it’s being organised here on the forum. Sorry I ‘m not sure how to link to other posts, but it’s not hard to find. That will be a great way to meet people.

I have been taking my book down to Clarke Quay and having a read and a beer, usually I meet some interesting folks.

Also, there are some group that meet during the week and w’end also from here on the forum. I’ve been to the Tuesday eating club, and met some terrific people.

I'm from the group that meets every week. You're welcome to join us as a lot of people do every week; don't mind the thread title though. It's that way for historical reasons. http://forum.singaporeexpats.com/ftopic61839-450.html

Our group is currently cooking up something for saturday night. It's either Robertson Walk or Somerset, depending on the size. You may follow the development here: http://forum.singaporeexpats.com/ftopic61839-480.html. If you can't wait for Saturday, there's also dinner on Wednesday on the same thread.

For Christmas (and Christmas Eve), it's not our group but there are people organizing them here: http://forum.singaporeexpats.com/sutra4 ... tml#431751 and here: http://forum.singaporeexpats.com/ftopic65811.html

Clarke Quay's not a regular haunt but people definitely pop up there from time to time.

Friday Night supper at House

Post by Luka » Wed, 06 Jan 2010 5:16 pm

Hello - We are planning to grab some Friday Night supper at House at 7:30

http://www.dempseyhouse.com/

Please check out menu and plan accordingly.
Great selection of vino & bubbly & beers.

Please PM & RSVP tonight or tomorrow so I can make the booking.

Some people mentioned Stereolounge afterwards. However, if thats not your cup of tea House offers a nice blend of house music/electronica with a patio that is pretty damn amazing.

Hope to see you. Cheers/Luka
