I am not native English speaker, I did not have chance to speak English when I was in my hometown, so my speaking and listening are not good, I have to improve!

the surmise that 'native' english speakers must speak good english is problematic in itself.

replace [english] with [any language], and the statement still applies.

Obviously you aren't one of them, are you?

Asians also speak English well. You meant "Singlish" didn't you? The OP would like to have somebody who actually speaks English and not the local creole or pidgin.

Well, I am counter proposing you to learn ALL these following languages free of charge, in return to speak with an excellent english speaker(u dont need to be a native english speaker, preferably if u cant speak asian language):-

a) native mandarin
b) native Malay (can be used in singapore, malaysia, borneo, brunei and u can even understand some indonesian if u can speak malay)
c) native cantonese ( can be used in hongkong)
d) native hokkien ( can be used in taiwan/singapore)

although taiwan people can speak perfect mandarin, and since the handover of hongkong to china 12 years back, hong kong ppl's mandarin is getting better, if you can speak their native language (cantonese & hokkien), they will surely be amazed & u make their jaws drop

contact me at msn [email protected] :D :D :D :D
