Running Shoes

Post by rw81 » Tue, 08 Dec 2009 9:56 am

Hi

I've just started running on evenings, but my current shoes are not the most comfortable for this. Can someone give me advice on a running shop where they can advise me on a good running shoe to suit my foot type. Thanks.

You can try Royal Sporting house.. Usually New Balance shoes are good for running. Maybe you can give it a try..

Try "Running Lab". The staff there can help you to get running shoes suitable for you. They have outlet at Funan and Velocity.

Thanks for the tips, I actually live around the corner from Velocity, so think I'll check it out after work tonight and see what it's like. With some new shoes all I have left to do is sort out my shocking diet and beer belly and I'll be race ready...

Well I went to running lab in Velocity, and got some new shoes. Have to say the staff were very good and helpful and I'm quite pleased with the ones I got.

The sundown marathon looks interesting, but I'm running the Mens Health Urbanathlon on the 31st Jan. It's only 12km with a few obstacles thrown in, but if it goes OK I'll take a look at a longer race. I've been running for about 2 weeks now and so far so good!

12km with obstacles is not easy...not unless you where in the army days...but goodluck...!!..organize a team of 4, each running 10K, this is if you want a short run for the night race...
