Opening small business in Sing?

Post by code2110 » Thu, 03 Dec 2009 6:58 pm

Hi!
I need some help. I would like to open a food tall, how much is the minimum capital? We do sell Vietnamese fast food & no serve at the site, all take away. Is it difficult to get a business permit? & if yes, could I bring my chef there? How is the work permit?
Hope to get some advice from you guys

Are you a Singapore citizen or PR?

If not, you can't open a typical food stall.

You would need to open a restaurant.

Do a search for Entrepass on this site and look up the Entrepass at the MOM website.

I'm not a Singap0re citizen or PR however I have a Singaporean friend who could do all paper works. The problem here is we do serve Vietnamese food so we could not employ any local staff cause they could not do anything. Could I bring my chef there & is it difficult to get work permit for these people? As you know we run food tall so our men are not more than 3.

Why we need 3 persons?
* One to bake cake
* One to set up food & handle to customer
* One to take care the customer (service)
What we do to bring good services from home to customer not the services you see in any Singapore food talls.
Customer could get five star service as coming to our tall & we do delivery as well.

We don't want to invest much money. If we are success, we still keep the old method but we will open more outlet that the way it is, FOOD TO GO
