Mother wanting to make new friends for herself and baby

Post by LostSing » Thu, 03 Dec 2009 9:36 am

Hi, My amazing friend has moved to Singapore and while there she has had a son. As you can imagine with a newborn child it is not easy for her to get out and make friends so I am hoping to help here.

She lives in Buka Timah (I think thats right spelling) and would love to meet up with mums and their babies for some sort of playgroup/coffee thing.

If you are interested or already have a group going that you would like to welcome her into we would love to here from you.

Her son is 10 weeks and she is in her 30's (I noted somewhere in the past this was asked for)

Thanks in advance from her Aussie friend that misses her dearly!

Hi there,

I would love to meet up with your friend & her lovely baby when we are there after 14 Dec 09. (If she doesn't mind a 18 months old active boy running around !!!)

I am a Malaysian, 34 years old, married to an Australian (originally from M'sia) with a 18 months old boy.

My boy & myself will be arriving singapore on 14 Dec 09, hubby will be there earlier. Will be staying in Orchard area till the house is ready to move in :)

Drop me a line @ [email protected] if she is interested to meet :)

cheers
Amber

Hi,

I arrived here last week and have a 16 month old daughter (also in my 30s). Am currently staying at Clarke Key but trying to find somewhere to live. Would love to have a support group of other Mums. Ask your friend if she fancies meeting for a coffee next week?

Also, tell your friend to look at the New Mothers Support Group website. It looks great, I'm just waiting for a permanent address before I join!

Thanks

Hi,

Just wondering if you are interested to meet for a coffee on the week of 14 Dec or after ? As we will only be arriving on 14 Dec night.

Drop me a line @ [email protected] if you are keen :)
