Hi Guys,
I was applying for PR, but need some input from you guys.
In addition to base pay and annual bonus, I got one time cash award (Joining bonus).
This joining bonus if I left before 1 year, I will have to return back to the employer amount equivalent to no of days left in completing the year.

Should I include Joining Bonus as a part of my gross salary in my PR application ? The reason I am asking is that this is just a one time and will not be given to me next year.
Will very much appreciate your views in this. Thanks in advance.

Is your Annual Bonus a variable/performance bonus or a 13th month type of bonus? If Variable do not include that as gross salary. Only your bonus if it is fixed should be included if they are asking for 'per annum' salary.

Thanks for the reply.
Bonus is NOT variable but fixed type. It is a one time cash award that was given to me at the time of joining.
Also, PR application form ask gross salary monthly and not annually.

A joining award should not be considered as part of your gross Salary as it's not really salary at all but an enticement for joining the company and not for work performed.
