Hey B_T, you tryin' to stir the pot too? I ain't gonna bite! :P

We missed you at the last pissup! I'm afraid to ask about the other thing though as I've not seen you over there either. With all that time on the road, I would imagine that that has been sidelined for the time being?

why not ask the other way round what the local Indians think of the ones from India ?
well it is negative, most singaporeans can"t differentiate between Indians from India and Bangladeshis .
When anyone introduce himself as northern Indian, the immediate reaction is we are Bangladeshis .

so we are still far too away from commnenting on local born Singaporeans be it Indians or Chinese

What I believe is, Singaporean Chinese doesnt even bother to differentiate Indians or Bengalis from local Indians. But I have observed that sometimes Ipone , PSP , Ipod , earrings or some hair styles will help to be a local Indian.

JakeM,

You are correct. Chinese look down on all who aren't Chinese. Full Stop. Wonder what possibly could have given MentalDwarf the wrong impression. :?
