New phone and network contract

Moving over In january and need some recommendations on mobile phone stores.

Am going to need a phone from the word go.
is it better to get phone and contract deal or bring my own phone and get better contract deal????

Recommended store locations?

mobile fone stores are EVERYWHERE. check the telco website on deals.
