sounds like a good idea. i'm n00b at roller blading and haven't rode any sort of two-wheels for years, but i'm willing to give a try. esp. roller blading!

weekends afternoons will be rather crowded.. itz school holidays for singapore kids. ;) friday late afternoon sounds great for rollerblading.. less ppl. ;)

actually this friday being a public holiday, i suspect the crowd will be equally large both days.

however, i leave it to you guys. in this worst case, i'll either just drop in late or join in the dinner afterwards :D

From the National Parks website:

Service 401 to East Coast Park Service Road (Sundays and Public Holidays only).
Services 16, 155, 196 to Marine Crescent or Marine Terrace and walk across the underpasses or overhead bridge.
Service 36 (from Changi International Airport) to City; alight at Carpark F3, outside Marine Parade
Services 16, 31, 36, 55, 76, 135, 155, 196, 197 and 853 to Marine Parade Road.

Since Friday is a holiday, you may take 401 from the Bedok Bus Interchange
