Playschool for 18mth old

Post by jlvaswani » Tue, 17 Nov 2009 2:03 pm

I am looking for a playschool for my 18mth old. I have heard some good things about White Lodge, Dempsey.

Does anyone know of a playschool, that focuses more on interaction, play, discovery, music, arts... a school that treats toddlers as toddlers.

Thanx!

White Lodge in Dempsey is buggy and I heard not the most hygenic of places. Try PlayDays which does a lot of play, singing and arts and crafts.

I would agree. Our eldest son went to Playdays before going to big school. Our youngest son is now in Playdays and we have been very happy with it. The children are given lots of room for free play with daily music, and outdoor play sessions. There is no rigid daily time table as in other schools, one of which you have already mentioned, but an art based theme which runs through the term. The teachers are competent and well-spoken and the small groups occupy large new studio rooms which let in lots of natural light. For 18 month olds there are accompanied classes (parents attending) as well as drop-off classes. Do give them a visit. It is just a really happy and friendly place to be.

Julia Gabriels @ Evans Road (near Botanic gardens) or Forum the Shopping Mall.
for the latter, try getting the Hip Kids Club membership for 2yr at only S$10, & you can attend a trial lesson @JG Free! It costs $55+ for a regular lesson. see whether your kid likes it, then commit yourself..

seizetheday: When did the Hip Hop Club start offering the free JG trial class? I purchased a membership but they never provided the trial class pass.
