I did that once..went to a resto/bar and had a few drinks...it helps if you sit on the bar stool and not get a table. Oddly relaxing. I normally dont give a ***t whether people stare at me or think i'm weird. maybe because i am.

It does take quite a bit of courage to go into the Spore scene alone. Most Singaporeans are conservative but the local scene is slowly warming up. Most people already have established social groups that they go with when they hit these bars though - colleagues, classmates, couples.

It does feel odd to be left out sitting in the middle of all this action. Let me know if anyone is out for some good food/drinks/chat. =)

Well, seems everything I've just read is true. Been going out solo all week and it gets old fast. Thankfully the city is beautiful and I'll be in Greece come Tuesday.
